Artlarking: A meeting place for creative people

Artlarking was founded in 2008 as a social networking platform and “creative classifieds” for artists of all types, with the mission of breaking down boundaries between genres and forms. Artlarking brought together creative people n the San Francisco Bay Area both online and through multimedia art shows that highlighted collaborative projects, combining mediums and crossing creative boundaries for both artists and audiences.

Artlarking events featured artists such as New York Times acclaimed artist Shantell Martin; Founding Principal of 450 Architects, Richard Parker; KQED Art Journalist Kristin Farr; musician and Goodby Silverstein Producer, Edison; critically acclaimed RAW Dance; Palanza Dance and members of the San Francisco Ballet; and technology demos from mobile developer Artivore, amongst many others.
